The 2027 Arkansas Razorbacks baseball schedule features its typical SEC gauntlet, which includes three league foes who advanced to the College World Series in Omaha last season: Alabama, Ole Miss and Texas.
The Hogs, who finished 41-22 overall and 17-13 in SEC play, are the nation’s winningest team over the past decade with 424 wins. Arkansas, one of two programs to win at least 40 games in each of the last nine full seasons (the 2020 season was cut short and canceled after the COVID-19 outbreak), will face 14 teams that made the NCAA tournament. Hall-of-Famer Dave Van Horn is entering his 25th season as head coach of the Diamond Hogs.
Arkansas opens the season at home in Fayetteville with a three-game series Feb. 19-21 against Butler of the Big East. Once again, the Hogs will travel to the Texas Rangers’ home park — Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas — for the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series Feb. 26-28. They will face Iowa, Oregon and Oregon State. (Arkansas will play a fourth game in Arlington on Monday, March 1 (not a part of the Amegy series), before returning home to launch a season-long nine-game homestand.
The remainder of the nonconference slate is highlighted by the annual tussle with Missouri State, this year on March 23 in Springfield, and Memphis in Little Rock on April 20.
The Hogs’ home SEC slate is comprised of Alabama, LSU, Missouri, Auburn and Kentucky. The road series will take Arkansas to Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M and Mississippi State. The SEC tournament runs May 25-30 in Hoover, Alabama.
All games are subject to change for television, including the move of some conference series to begin on Thursdays, according to an Arkansas press release. The full schedule of the Thursday-Friday-Saturday series will be determined and announced at a later date.
