Mr. Nainan, who is in his 50s, has successfully passed himself off as a millennial kid to Forbes, the Associated Press, Vocativ, and Cosmopolitan, with his age varying from 31 to 36, sometimes in the same year. Either he loves the art of the prank or likes to see his name in lights. Or both. And like his age, many facts of his life are hard to verify.
“Millennial Dan Nainan has been the go-to millennial in a whole lot of news stories in the past year,” Ben Collins reports in The Daily Beast.
Mr. Nainan claims that his father is Indian and his mother is Japanese, and he hangs a fair amount of his humor on that fact.
Mr. Collins dug into the stories and timelines of Mr. Nainan’s life and presents a “wait-a-minute” story about “The Media’s Favorite Millennial.”
