The Arkansas Razorbacks open their SEC home slate Saturday against No. 4 Texas A&M.
The Hogs are 2-4 overall and 0-2 in league play after a 34-31 loss last week at No. 12 Tennessee. The Aggies, 6-0 and 3-0, beat Florida 34-17 last week in their third straight home game to open SEC play.
The Aggies defeated the Hogs 21-17 last year in the final game of the Southwest Classic at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium. Arkansas has won just one of the last 13 games against A&M, but Razorback interim coach Bobby Petrino was 3-0 against the Aggies during his first go-round as head Hog from 2008-12 when A&M was still a member of the Big 12.
The Aggies are 7.5-point favorites and kickoff is set for Saturday at 2:30 p.m. with the game broadcast on ESPN.
