Friday, Eldredge & Clark, LLP has named two new partners to the firm. Both of the new partners, Robert W. George and Matthew D. Mitchell, are based at the law firm’s Rogers office.
George is a specialist in litigation, corporate governance and regulatory matters. Since joining Friday, Eldredge & Clark, he has focused on business litigation at both the federal and state levels, defending clients in antitrust, securities, environmental and toxic tort claims.
In addition, he serves as outside general for a multi-billion-dollar cooperative lender. He previously served as the vice president of litigation and regulatory affairs for Tyson Foods Inc.
Mitchell is part of Friday, Eldredge & Clark’s Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group, which he joined in 2015. He focuses on the banking, corporate and securities and real estate sectors, helping clients with a range of matters from “entity formation and reorganization, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and commercial contract drafting and negotiation,” according to a company news release.
