The former Murphy Oil headquarters in El Dorado has hit the market.
Colliers International | Arkansas released a listing for the 87,076 square-foot property this morning, pricing the building at $15 million. The building, located at 300 E. Peach Street in El Dorado, sits on approximately 0.83 acres.
Built in 2015, the former Murphy Oil headquarters is a Class A structure with “high-level finishes.” According to the Building Owners and Managers Association International (BOMA International), a Class A building is one that has “high quality standard finishes, state of the art systems, exceptional accessibility and a definite market presence” and that commands rents above average for a given area.
In a description of the property, Colliers lists a range of features the structure has. These features include a 100-person video conference center, on-site commercial grade kitchen, state-of-the-art audio-visual systems, on-site backup 100 kilowatt generator, an enhance server room with two Liebert units and more.
The building has 16 conference rooms and 99 offices, along with an executive parking garage. In addition, there are 55 parking spots across the street from the building with six visitor parking spots in front of the building.
Based on floor plans provided in a Colliers brochure, the building is five stories high. The executive parking garage, which has five spaces, is underneath the building.
Murphy Oil announced in May 2020 its plans to leave its legacy El Dorado headquarters. The oil company has established its corporate headquarters at its existing Houston office, located at 9805 Katy Freeway.
Murphy USA, a former subsidiary of Murphy Oil, is still headquartered in El Dorado. Its headquarters is located at 200 E. Peach Street.
