Arkansas business titan Charles D. Morgan will be discussing the keys to his success during an event at the Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub in March.
Morgan, the former Axciom CEO and chairman, will be discussing his business career as well as his latest book, “Now What? The Biography of a (Finally) Successful Startup.” During the free “Tech Talk,” Morgan will speak with Innovation Hub Executive Director Dr. Chris Jones about founding First Orion, the Arkansas Center for Data Science initiativeand more.
Morgan’s book delves into his experience of working with First Orion, a technology startup, and his team’s efforts to build its call-blocking system into a major telecommunication network.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to pick Morgan’s brain during a question-and-answer session. He will also be signing copies of his book following the talk.
Morgan made his name as the leader of Acxiom, building the company into an international leader in data gathering. He retired from the company in 2007 and has since led First Orion, a call management and transparency solution company headquartered in North Little Rock.
This free event will take place at the Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub on Friday, March 13, from 12-3 p.m.
