First Horizon Corporation has unveiled a new grant campaign that will award $100,000 to nonprofits serving Arkansas communities.
The financial institution’s private charitable foundation, First Horizon Foundation is launching the “Better Together” campaign. This grant campaign, according to the foundation, was designed to “help us tell the stories of how we can be better together within our communities.
As part of the campaign, First Horizon Foundation will select 15 nonprofit organizations to award grants. Five organizations each will be selected in the Northeast, Northwest and Central regions of the state.
“It’s been exciting to watch how our respective organizations have come together to form an even stronger bank,” Central Arkansas market leader Jay Meador said in a statement. “Being a strong community partner has always been an important part of what we do, and now with the expansion of First Horizon Foundation to Central Arkansas, we can continue that effort at an even greater level.”
Nonprofits can submit grant proposals through June 30. Grant recipients are expected to be notified in August. To apply for a grant, click here.
