What kind of competition do you face in this field, and how does your company distinguish itself?
There are a lot of choices for florists in our area, yet we differentiate ourselves by trying to create an immersive experience. Our flower truck and storefront are not cookie-cutter like a typical florist; we strive to stand out in the crowd. We do not just provide flowers — we provide happiness.
What has been your organization’s proudest moment or accomplishment so far?
We did not just survive COVID-19; we thrived and flourished. We opened our doors only two weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic. While so many local businesses had to shut their doors, we have expanded our storefront twice, won eight awards, and also provided countless clients a wonderful experience in fresh florals, workshops and parties.
What do you want the business to accomplish in 2026?
I would like 2026 to be the year of growth — mostly growth for customer awareness. We offer more than a vase of flowers; we offer happiness in a vase, whether it’s a simple arrangement, a workshop, a private party, a corporate class or a flower truck party.
What qualities are most important for floral designers?
I think being able to adapt to new trends, create their own ideas and provide great customer service. Anyone can learn how to make an arrangement, but those who put their clients first are the most successful.
What is something everyone gets wrong about floral design?
It’s not as simple as “playing with flowers” all day; it’s the experience you have, the tools you use and processing flowers to have the most longevity, from having a vision to knowing how to execute it perfectly.
What kind of legacy do you hope Eden’s Flower Truck & Botanicals will leave behind?
Legacy is more than passing ownership; it’s about the trust and faith from the community in receiving the same quality and beauty of the arrangements we provide for many celebratory occasions. We want customers to know they are always at the forefront of our decision-making, and their happiness is the most important thing when designing their florals. From weddings to funerals, everyday flowers, birthdays and celebrations, flowers are always a great way to express how you feel.
