What kind of competition do you face in this field, and how does your company distinguish itself?

We invest heavily in advanced technology, continuing education and expanding services so patients can receive comprehensive care in one place. Just as importantly, we focus on creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected and comfortable.
Our goal isn’t just to fix teeth — it’s to build long-term relationships with patients and families across Arkansas.
What has been your organization’s proudest moment or accomplishment so far?
One of our proudest accomplishments has been the growth of our team and the positive impact we’ve had on the communities we serve. Watching team members grow in their careers while seeing patients regain confidence through healthy smiles is incredibly rewarding.
We are especially proud of launching AFD Gives Back, our nonprofit initiative dedicated to providing free dental care to underserved members of our community. Programs like this remind us why we entered health care in the first place — to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
What is one thing you wish every Arkansan knew about their oral health?
Your oral health is directly connected to your overall health. Conditions like gum disease have been linked to heart disease, diabetes and other systemic health issues.
Preventive care — regular exams, cleanings and early treatment — can prevent many serious dental problems before they begin. We want people to know that maintaining a healthy smile is not just cosmetic; it’s a vital part of maintaining a healthy body.
