ERIK’S Bike Board & Ski, a prominent independent bicycle retailer in the United States, will open a Fayetteville location in July.
The store will be located at 1052 E Stearns St. The Minnesota-based company currently operates 34 locations across the U.S.
In a press release, company leadership cited northwest Arkansas as a vibrant cycling community where the cycling infrastructure and culture are unique and inspiring.
ERIK’S has existing ties to the NWA cycling community. In 2021, Dave Olson, ERIK’S president and partner and volunteer chair of the nonprofit Bicycle Industry Employers Association, worked on the ground with Northwest Arkansas Community College to help launch its Bicycle Assembly & Repair Technician program, one of only two in the U.S. This work also helped lay the foundation for NWACC’s Trail Technician program, which launched in the fall of 2024.
