Encore Bank is expanding north of its Arkansas home base.
The bank is moving into the Southwest Missouri market, marking its second out-of-state expansion in recent weeks. According to Encore Bank chairman and CEO Chris Roberts, Southwest Missouri has been a planned market for expansion over the past year.
“Springfield has been one of our markets of interest for the past year. Its strong business community and market share growth opportunity has made southwestern Missouri a natural fit for Encore Bank. Our model of being a hospitality-inspired concierge bank, led by highly experienced and talented bankers has certainly proved itself over the last 18 months. We look forward to bringing our unique banking experience to our clients and partners in Southwest Missouri,” Roberts said in a statement.
Doug Parker, will be taking over as the executive vice president and Southwest Missouri regional president. Most recently, Parker served as the Southwest Missouri regional president for Simmons Bank, overseeing Springfield, Joplin, Mt. Vernon, Ozark, Nixa and Branson.
Previously, he was the owner and CEO of CCF Brands, one of the largest egg producers in the United States. He also served as a regional president for Bank OZK and as an executive vice president of real estate lending for Regions Bank.
“I am honored to be a member of the Encore Bank team. Encore’s commitment to utilizing client focused technology is second to none, but the real difference is the unprecedented level of personal service. This bank is different, together we are building something different,” Parker said.
On Sept. 25, Encore Bank announced that it was expanding into the Dallas and Fort Smith markets. Marc Massad and Scott Jones will be serving as the regional presidents for the Dallas and Fort Smith markets, respectively.
