Encore Bank will be continuing its expansion efforts, moving into the San Antonio market.
In September, Encore Bank announced that it would be moving into the Dallas and Fort Worth markets. The Little Rock-headquartered bank appointed Marc Massad and Scott Jones to head up the Dallas and Fort Worth markets, respectively.
Chris Roberts, chairman and CEO of Encore Bank, announced the expansion and named a new executive vice president and regional president for the San Antonio market. Lane Allen will be leading the bank’s efforts in San Antonio.
“We are excited to be moving into San Antonio. The market’s demographics, economy, culture and growth make it a natural fit for our business model of concierge-style of banking. Texas, more specifically Central Texas, is a key part of our growth plan and this expansion, particularly because of Lane Allen agreeing to spearhead our efforts, further entrenches Encore Bank into our growing brand in the Lone Star State,” Roberts said.
Allen is a 20-year banking veteran who previously served as senior vice president of corporate banking for Frost Bank. He also was senior vice president and group manager for Comerica Bank, Dallas market chief executive officer for Sterling Bank, and vice president and commercial account officer for Bank of Texas.
Encore Bank reports total assets of $681 million as of Sept. 30, 2020.
