Crews & Associates has added Mark Dillon as the company’s senior vice president of institutional sales. In his role, he helps clients with their fixed-income needs. Dillon officially began this position on Sept. 18.
Dillon brings more than three decades of experience in the financial services sector with banks, bond funds, credit unions, corporations, endowments, foundations, hedge funds, insurance companies, money managers and pension funds, trading in such products as U.S. Treasury securities, high-yield and investment-grade corporate bonds, agency debentures, mortgage collateral, equities, tax-exempt and taxable municipals, emerging markets, and money-market securities. He has served as vice president of fixed-income sales for a variety of financial institutions in Richmond and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
In his home state, Dillon obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics at the University of Virginia; he holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina. He also holds Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.
Dillon enjoys boating, offshore fishing, scuba, golf and tennis. He is a member of Yale Club NYC, Bond Club of Virginia, The Commonwealth Club and Virginia Power Boat Association.
