NFL Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson will speak at the next Little Rock Touchdown Club meeting on Monday, Sept. 9, 2024.
The Los Angeles Rams chose Dickerson in the first round of the 1983 NFL draft. He immediately began establishing rookie records that earned him All-Pro, Pro Bowl, Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors. During his second season, he broke the record previously held by O.J. Simpson for the most 100-yard games in a season.
After nearly five seasons with the Rams, Dickerson was traded to the Indianapolis Colts and continued his football career with them for about the same amount of time as the Rams. He also played a season with the L.A. Raiders and a season with Atlanta.
According to the Pro Football Hall of Fame website, “During his 11-year career, Dickerson gained 13,259 yards rushing, which was second all-time at the time of his retirement. A six-time Pro Bowl selection, Dickerson was All-Pro in 1983, 1984, 1986, 1987 and 1988.”
Tickets to see Dickerson speak at the Little Rock Touchdown Club are $35 for members and $50 for non-members. Doors will open at 11 a.m., and the program will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Little Rock. Tickets can be purchased online.
The ticket deadline for this event is Friday, Sept. 6. After the purchase, you will be emailed a receipt from Fourth Quarter Productions confirming your reservation. If you do not wish to purchase your ticket online, you may print the form and bring it to the luncheon.
Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person if you are unable to attend.
