First Horizon and IBERIABANK Agree to “Merger of Equals”
First Horizon National Corporation and IBERIABANK Corporation are combining in a transaction that is expected to create one of the largest financial services institutions in the southern United States.

Approximately 60 individuals have been named to state boards, commission or positions recently by Gov. Asa Hutchinson.

Stryker Buying Wright Medical Group in $4 Billion Deal
Medical technology company Stryker Corporation is acquiring Wright Medical Group in a $4 billion transaction. The total enterprise value of the acquisition, once debt is factored in, is estimated at $5.4 billion.
According to Stryker chairman and CEO Kevin Lobo, the Kalamazoo, Mich.-based company is buying Wright Medical to complement Stryker’s extremities and trauma divisions. Read the full story here.
