CTEH, LLC, an environmental consulting firm based in North Little Rock that has worked on projects from New York to California, has announced a set of new additions and promotions within its ranks. Andre D. Richardson, Ph.D., has been hired to join CTEH’s internationally renowned team of toxicology experts, Jeremy Gueringer has been promoted to sales consultant on the Major Projects Team, and Lourdes Mahoney has been promoted to senior quality program manager.
“CTEH is proud to have assembled an unmatched team of experienced toxicologists with diverse backgrounds,” said Paul Nony, Ph.D., CIH, CSP, senior vice president and principal toxicologist. “By expanding our team and promoting talent from within, we’re able to offer a wide breadth of knowledge and leadership to handle any toxicology need and remain at the forefront of our industry.”
Richardson earned bachelor’s degrees in Cellular Toxicology and Biology from Nazareth College of Rochester, followed by a master’s and then Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Louisville. Much of his research, including the dissertation that earned him his doctorate, has focused on the health effects of smoking and vaping, such as how the chemicals they contain affect blood clotting.
Gueringer has been a part of CTEH for 12 years, and in that time has worked on over 200 projects in many different roles. From rapid responder to environmental scientist to TERP project manager, he has dealt with crude oil releases, well control events, train derailments, chemical spills, fires and more. In his new role, Gueringer will work with the sales team and across other departments at CTEH to expand business relationships across Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida.

She has been instrumental in developing and maintaining CTEH’s contact tracing program, as well as helping to grow the epidemiology department. In her new role, she will manage the company’s Quality Management System, ensuring that all company efforts and activities are consistent with the company’s high internal standards.
