Southwest Power Pool (SPP) is pleased to announce that David Coyle has been named director of information technology applications for Southwest Power Pool in Little Rock.
“David brings a wealth of expertise and a forward-thinking approach that will strengthen our technology strategy,” said Felek Abbas, SPP senior vice president, chief technology and security officer. “His vision aligns perfectly with our commitment to innovation and operational excellence.”
Coyle will direct the design, development, implementation, maintenance and support of software solutions used throughout SPP.
“I look forward to partnering across the organization to help further advance our capabilities while continuing to deliver reliable, long-term value for SPP’s members and the communities they serve,” Coyle said.
Coyle comes from Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield, where he has served in multiple information technology roles since 2007. Most recently, he was director of data engineering after having been manager of interoperability and orchestration. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
