Conway Regional Health System will remain in network with UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plans following a new agreement set to take effect Oct. 1, 2025.
The two parties reached a verbal agreement on contract terms, ensuring uninterrupted care for patients. As part of the deal, an extension through Oct. 1 was agreed upon to provide time for the terms to be finalized in written form.
Negotiations began in January between Conway Regional, which includes more than 280 physicians and the Conway Regional Physician Hospital Organization, and UnitedHealthcare. The talks focused on establishing market equity to support both access to care and the long-term strength of local health care.
The agreement marks a significant development for central Arkansas patients who rely on UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage coverage, guaranteeing continuity of care without disruption.
