The University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service in Little Rock has added Alejandra Castillo, Kelly Eichler, and Sanford Johnson to its Dean’s Advisory Board.
The board provides strategic guidance, supports institutional advancement, and creates real-world learning opportunities for graduate students pursuing careers in public service.
Castillo is a former Senate-confirmed U.S. Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development (overseeing more than $8.6 billion in federal investments) and former CEO of YWCA USA. She is currently the Chancellor’s Senior Fellow at Purdue University Northwest.
Eichler is a lifelong Arkansan, attorney, and former chair of the board of trustees of the University of Arkansas System. She also served in executive leadership and legal policy roles across three Arkansas gubernatorial administrations.
Johnson is executive director of Teach Plus Arkansas-Mississippi, leading policy initiatives on teacher pay, mental health access and education issues across the Delta.
