CHI St. Vincent has named a new vice president of human resources. The health system has hired Qualenta Forrest to oversee its HR division.
In her new role, Forrest will be tasked with the strategic leadership of the human resources division, which includes recruitment for the hospital, management and employment engagement, regulatory compliance, compensation, and employee affairs, ranging from orientation to relations to assistance.
“We’re fortunate at CHI St. Vincent to have an incredible staff committed to our healing ministry across Central and Southwest Arkansas,” CHI St. Vincent CEO Chad Aduddell said. “We look forward to the vision and leadership Qualenta now brings as we make sure they feel celebrated as well and we continue to recruit the very best healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care in our communities.”
Prior to joining CHI St. Vincent, Forrest served as the Associate Chief People Officer at the Medical University of South Carolina. She previously was the Division Human Resources Director for CHI St. Luke’s Health System in Texas.
Forrest is originally from Jacksonville and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and criminal justice at the University of Arkansas. She also received a law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s William H. Bowen School of Law.
