Taylor Cassat has joined the Forge Institute has its new vice president of sales and business development.
In this role, Cassat will develop and grow partner relationships for the cybersecurity-focused organization. He will also develop sales strategies and increase awareness for the Forge Institute’s Training Academy and Emerging Threat Center.
Before joining Forge Institute, Cassat served in cybersecurity roles with the U.S. Navy. After enlisting in the U.S. Navy, Cassat qualified as an operational intelligence analyst, working with the National Security Agency and USCYBERCOM on defensive cyber operations. He has also had combat deployments with SEAL Teams.
“Taylor brings an incredible set of skills to the team,” Forge Institute chairman and CEO Lee Watson said in a statement. “His previous roles involved developing new relationships and presenting information to various mission stakeholders in support of using new capabilities to successfully conduct operations worldwide. His skillset will enable Forge Institute to cultivate relationships and expand our existing partner base.”
