CARTI Cancer Center has added a new radiation oncologist to its staff.
Jonathan Pagan, M.D., M.S., has joined CARTI and is now accepting patients at the center’s facilities, located at 8901 CARTI Way in Little Rock.
Most recently, Pagan served as a radiation oncologist at Carson-Tahoe Radiation Oncology in Carson City, Nev. He is a member of the American Society of Radiation Oncology Global Health Subcommittee and the Arkansas Healthcare Access Foundation.
Pagan obtained a medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. During his time at UAMS, he received the Barton Foundation Scholarship, which is awarded to students who earn a 4.0 GPA in their first year of medical school. He later completed his radiation oncology residency at Vanderbilt University.
“With multiple publications and conference presentations to his credit, Dr. Pagan is at the beginning of what I believe will be a remarkable career in radiation oncology,” said Adam Head, president and chief executive officer of the statewide network of cancer care providers. “His deep interest in research coupled with his experience in providing excellent care for patients makes him the perfect addition to our team of cancer specialists.”
