CARTI on Tuesday announced the addition of five new physicians to its team.
New cancer specialists joining CARTI are medical oncologist Andrew M. Briggler, M.D.; radiation oncologist Brent Cameron, M.D., Ph.D.; diagnostic radiologist Shivang Desai, M.D.; urologic surgical oncologist Matthew Katz, M.D., F.A.C.S.; and medical oncologist Appalanaidu Sasapu, M.D., FACP.
With the addition of these new physicians, CARTIâs medical team includes 42 physicians representing 11 specialties. Each of these physicians are currently accepting new patients.Â

All the new doctors will treat patients at the CARTI Cancer Center in Little Rock. Briggler also will see patients at CARTI’s Russellville location, Cameron will treat patients at CARTI’s Pine Bluff location and Sasapu will treat patients in Pine Bluff and Crossett as well.
Based in Little Rock, CARTI offers medical oncology and hematology, radiation therapy and mammography screening services at 19 locations across the state.
