The Delta Population Health Institute (DPHI) has named a new director of operations.
Tiffny Calloway will be taking on the role for the DPHI, which is the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine’s community engagement arm. Most recently, she has served as a regional administrator for NYITCOM’S office of clinical education – a role she has held since 2019.
As the director of operations, Calloway will be charged with overseeing the implementation of DPHI’s strategic plans and the operations of its community engagement plans. In addition, she will head up partnership engagements.
“We are thrilled to have Tiffny join us in this role,” DPHI executive director Brookshield Laurent, D.O., said in a statement. “Her extensive background in community and economic development and her continued commitment to community service make her the ideal person to help guide our efforts to partner with communities to transform the health of the Delta region through education, research, policy and authentic community engagement.”
Calloway previously served as the City of Jonesboro’s director of community development.
The Pine Bluff native graduated from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.
