Caisson Capital Partners of Fayetteville has acquired Preston Court, a 181-unit multifamily community in Overland Park, Kansas, for $23.4 million. The acquisition marks the firm’s first investment in the Kansas City metropolitan area and increases its multifamily assets under management to more than $100 million.
“Surpassing $100 million in multifamily assets under management is an important milestone for our firm, and we’re grateful to the investors and partners who have helped us reach this point,” said Bo Diamond, managing partner of Caisson Capital Partners. “Equally important is entering the Kansas City market with an asset that reflects exactly what we look for — a premier location, strong in-place fundamentals and meaningful long-term upside.”
With the addition of Preston Court, Caisson now owns and operates multifamily communities across four metropolitan markets in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Kansas, continuing its strategy of building an institutional-quality apartment portfolio throughout the heartland.
