It’s official. The Arkansas Razorbacks have sold out all tickets for all games at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville in the upcoming 2021-22 college basketball season, the University of Arkansas revealed this week.
A video of Coach Eric Musselman reacting to the good news was posted to Musselman’s official Twitter account recently. Click here to see the video.
The Hogs are coming off an SEC second-place, 25-7 campaign that ended in the Elite Eight of the NCAA tournament and with a top 10 finish, the latter two being milestones not realized by the program since the mid-1990s. Coach Eric Musselman is entering his third season in Fayetteville. In his first season in 2019-20, he led the Hogs to 20 wins and one SEC tournament win before the remainder of the season was canceled due to the pandemic.
Arkansas opens the 2021-22 ranked 16th in the AP preseason poll, and SEC media members picked the Hogs to finish third in the league behind Kentucky and Alabama. The Razorbacks (who currently own the nation’s No. 2 recruiting class in the 2022 cycle) officially open the season on Nov. 9 in Fayetteville against Mercer and play exhibition games on Oct. 24 against East Central Oklahoma and Oct. 30 against North Texas.
In a nod to the program’s history, the annual Red-White game was held Oct. 16 in front of a packed house in Barnhill Arena.
