A second Braum’s Ice Cream & Dairy store location is headed for central Arkansas.
Braum’s will add its 18th Arkansas location with recently announced plans for a restaurant in Maumelle.
Maumelle Area Chamber of Commerce officials told media members that the paperwork has been signed and that Braum’s will be part of a strip center on the north side of Maumelle Boulevard. Little Caesars and Vietwich will join Braum’s in the development, with spots remaining for two more tenants, the chamber reported.
Founded in 1933, Braum’s operates more than 300 locations across five states, including 15 in Arkansas — Fort Smith (four), Fayetteville (two), Springdale (two), Bentonville (two), Rogers, Siloam Springs, Van Buren, Alma and Greenwood. A Conway location is expected to open early next year, while in June the chain announced plans for restaurants on Chenal Parkway in west Little Rock near Costco and in Russellville.
