Stone Ward has promoted Allison Bermudez, APR, to public relations director, the agency announced Thursday.
In her new role, Bermudez will oversee Stone Ward’s award-winning public relations practice, guiding strategy and execution for local, regional and national clients served through the agency’s offices in Little Rock, northwest Arkansas and Chicago, according to a press release.
“Allison is an accomplished, trusted communications leader with a proven ability to align PR strategy with business outcomes,” said Dana Dussing Berry, managing partner/PR for the firm. “Her leadership, deep industry knowledge, and commitment to building strong teams make her the right person to guide the next phase of our PR practice’s growth. This promotion reflects both the strength of our bench and our confidence in public relations as a strategic growth engine for the agency.”
Bermudez joined Stone Ward in 2025 as a senior public relations counsel, following senior communications roles in the private and public sectors.
“Public relations plays a critical role in shaping reputation and supporting business decision-making,” Bermudez said. “I look forward to leading the continued evolution of our PR practice to deliver clarity, credibility, and measurable impact for our clients.”
Dussing Berry, who has been with Stone Ward for 19 years, will continue in her role as managing partner/PR, focusing on high-value client work and expanding the agency’s crisis communications services.
Bermudez holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mobile and an MBA from the University of Southern Mississippi. She earned Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America and currently serves as president-elect of the Arkansas chapter. She is a graduate of Leadership Arkansas Class XVI.
