Ready, set, shoot! The Quiver Archery Range in Bentonville will host the inaugural USA Archery Arkansas State Outdoor Target Championship June 21, marking the first statewide outdoor target archery competition in Arkansas. The groundbreaking event will set the stage for state records to be officially established.
As the state’s first outdoor championship sanctioned by USA Archery, the event cements the Quiver, a community space provided by the Peel Compton Foundation, as a premier destination for competitive archery in Arkansas. Participants from across the state will have the opportunity to compete at a professional level and the potential to become the first state record holders in their divisions.
“Hosting the first Arkansas State Outdoor Target Championship is a tremendous honor for the Quiver and Peel Compton Foundation,” said Jana Stout, manager of the Quiver. “Not only are we providing a platform for elite competition, but we are also making history by setting the very first state records for archery in Arkansas. This event solidifies our commitment to growing the sport and positioning Arkansas as a hub for competitive archery.”
With divisions spanning recurve, compound, barebow and basic compound categories, archers of all ages will compete under USA Archery regulations to ensure a high-caliber and professionally structured tournament.
