Two online events will be held next week to celebrate the role women have played in research business and innovation.
On Thursday, March 8, the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock will host two events in honor of International Women’s Day. This free events will be open to the public.
The first accelHERate for Women event will feature Staley House CEO Misti Staley, Infinity Therapy CEO Portia Carr, Latrobe president Latanyua Robinson, and UMAS Deparment of Pharmacology and Toxicology professor and chair Dr. Nancy Rusch. This event will take place from 12 to 1:30 p.m.
The second accelHERate event, held in partnerhip with ASBTDC at Arkansas State University, will feature New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine-Arkansas faculty member Dr. Jenn Conner, NatureWest president Dr. Maureen Dolan, 7 Minute Life founder and CEO Allyson Lewis, and Strategic Continuity and Strategic Technologies Corporation founder Sharon Davis. This event will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
