The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center will be continuing its Build Your Own Business, or BYOB, initiative in the coming months. These events are geared toward University of Arkansas at Little Rock students.
In February, the ASBTDC will host “Getting Ready to BYOB.” During this webinar, Elizabeth Henry, with ASBTDC, will discuss the lean canvas approach to business. This webinar will be held Feb. 25.
ASBTDC market research assistant Josiah Johnson will host “Market Research to Build Your Own Business” on March 31. The webinar will focus on using online resources to gain insight into a business or industry.
UA Little Rock graduate and Me Mentor founder Connor Donovan will share his own entrepreneurial story in the April 20 webinar, entitled “Student Startup Story: Me Mentor.” He will discuss the process of launching his virtual mentorship platform.
In addition to the webinar series, which was launched last fall, the ASBTDC is offering virtual office hours for UA Little Rock students on the first and third Friday of each month from 1 to 4 p.m.
