Arvest Bank has made two changes to its Northeast Arkansas team.
The bank has promoted Deania Vanhoozer to vice president, community and business relationship advisor while hiring Selena Barber as a marketing specialist. Both individuals are based in Jonesboro.
Vanhoozer will oversee and manage business relationship with community members and business account holders. She will serve as an advisor to meet business needs, and she is charged with developing and maintaining relationships with community organizations and nonprofits.
In 2018, Vanhoozer joined Arvest Bank as vice president, private banking advisor. Before joining Arvest, she had served as a sales and operations manager for St. Bernards Healthcare had had 11 years of experience in the healthcare industry and six years in the financial services industry.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Arkansas State University.
Barber will head up Arvest Bank’s marketing efforts in Northeast Arkansas. She will be responsible for advertising, public relations, events and seminars in the region, as well as coordinating contributions, sponsorships, and promotions.
Before joining Arvest, Barber served as senior vice president of business development for Centennial Bank in Jonesboro and previously served as marketing director for Liberty Bank.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism/advertising/marketing from Arkansas State University.
