The Arnold Innovation Center (AIC) is celebrating its second anniversary, continuing to support innovation and foster entrepreneurship in Conway. Established in 2022, the AIC has become a vital resource for startups across various industries.
Powered by Conway Corporation and managed by Conductor, the AIC offers a collaborative coworking space for small business owners. Conductor’s mission is to empower entrepreneurs by providing low to no-cost resources and eliminating barriers to innovation and entrepreneurship. AIC members benefit from access to peers, technical assistance, experts and meeting spaces, creating a vibrant community of innovators.
“We are proud to be part of providing this space for innovators in our community and very proud of the work The Conductor has done to provide excellent programming and support to those innovators,” said Crystal Kemp, Chief Marketing Officer at Conway Corporation. “We are excited to see the businesses that are starting and growing as a part of this community partnership.”
In its two years, the AIC has grown to 150 members and hosts nine office spaces rented by local businesses. The center has held over 150 events in its second year, including 20 member-exclusive gatherings, fostering a thriving culture of collaboration. AIC also launched a monthly member-only peer group, offering entrepreneurs a platform to share success stories, address challenges and build community.
AIC members have praised the center’s impact:
“Joining the Arnold Innovation Center has truly transformed both my professional trajectory and personal journey. The array of resources tailored for entrepreneurs surpasses anything I’ve encountered elsewhere. Moreover, the unparalleled networking opportunities stemming from a community of like-minded individuals have been nothing short of remarkable,” said Charles Frost Jr., owner of Frost Enterprises.
“It’s like having a VIP pass to the best industry insights and connections, helping me stay ahead of trends and meet amazing people who inspire and elevate my work every day,” said Sara Long, CEO of TopNotch Heating and Air.
“The AIC is my secret weapon for making any progress in my business. When I am at my shop I get a million interruptions from team members and customers alike, which there is certainly a time and place for! But when you need to get work done, you need a place like the AIC!” said Caitlyn Bailey, owner of Cross Creek in Downtown Conway.
