What is your secret to success?
Work hard and let God do the rest. I’ve been blessed to have a relationship with God that has grown during my time as a business owner, and I’m so grateful for my faith community to lean on during challenges.
What advice would you give to a young woman starting her career?
Pay attention and learn from every experience and opportunity. Everyone needs mentors and teachers, and the lessons you learn from those people shape your decisions. Also, remember that you can pick up good and bad lessons, so you have to decide for yourself who you are and what lessons are worth keeping.
How do you hope to be remembered?
As a giver. A wise woman said, “Make good money and have a great impact,” and that just stuck with me. I feel called to take the blessings I’ve received and pass them on through community organizations like Deliver Hope and the Bethlehem House. I am truly at my best and happiest when I am giving.
