Arkansas PBS is airing a special broadcast on Thursday, March 19, offering viewers an in-depth look at the impact of the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
The broadcast, “Arkansans Ask: COVID-19,” will feature a panel of healthcare experts who will discuss essential information on coronavirus and how the state of Arkansas is responding to contain the virus. The panel will include Dr. Jennifer Dillaha, director of immunizations and outbreak response for the Arkansas Department of Health; Dr. Steppe Mette, CEO of UAMS Health; Dr. Joe Thompson, president/CEO of Arkansas Center for Health Improvement; U.S. Congressman French Hill, 2nd District; and Dr. Keyur Vyas, infectious disease specialist, UAMS. Steve Barnes will serve as the broadcast’s host.
