The fourth cohort of Arkansas Lithium Technology Accelerator will soon begin the three-week accelerator program, which will give the companies exposure to people, infrastructure and resources throughout Arkansas.
ALTA is the nation’s first accelerator dedicated to lithium and battery supply-chain innovation. The inaugural program occurred in July 2025.
This newest cohort’s companies are ACT-ion Battery Technologies, Princeton Critical Minerals and Arcam.
“ALTA is about more than developing individual leaders, it’s about driving economic growth through statewide partnership and innovation,” said Sarah Thomas, innovation program manager at The Venture Center.
Standard Lithium and the University of Arkansas are partnering again with the Venture Center for this accelerator.
ALTA is also supported this year by many statewide business and community sponsors, including ExxonMobil, Tetra Technologies, Corzan, Rose Law Firm, Ghidotti Communications, Blue Flame Minerals, the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce and Terra Volta.
The program launch will take place at 4 p.m. Sept. 8 at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia.
