U.S. gymnast and Arkansas native Lila Richardson is among seven athletes who will represent their country at World Gymnastics’ World Challenge Cup competitions this fall in Hungary and France.
Rosters were determined based on results from the 2026 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships in Phoenix, Arizona, where Richardson finished at No. 6. Both men’s and women’s athletes will be in France for the 2026 Paris World Challenge Cup, Sept. 26-27.
Born in Little Rock and presently residing in Russellville, Richardson has been competing on the national level since 2021. She took 1st place for the balance beam in the 2022 Hopes Classic in Katy, Texas, and would later capture the balance beam title again in the Hopes Championships in Salt Lake City, Utah.
In August, Richardson learned she had made the USA Senior Gymnastics Team.
