Street said he was honored to be a part of the medical center and expressed confidence in the future of the staff and hospital as a whole moving forward. Street has been CEO since 2017.
His resignation follows a recent meeting of MCSA’s medical staff concerning the hospital’s leadership, which resulted in two no-confidence votes. Some staff members also cited reasons for the dissatisfaction with Street’s leadership including pay imbalances and concerns about certain MCSA practices and policies, according to Becker’s and the El Dorado News-Times.
Rob Robinson, chair of the hospital’s board of trustees, thanked Street for his contributions to the hospital and wished him well, in the statement.  MCSA will begin a search for a new CEO soon, the statement read.
