This fall, the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a series of door-to-door meetings throughout Arkansas. During the meetings, chamber officials will discuss the major issues affecting business in Arkansas today with local citizens.
There will be 17 meetings from September 4 through November 14. The meetings will take place in all four corners of the state and around central Arkansas.
Business and industry will be the focus of the meetings, from the state’s competitiveness to the legislative steps made in the 2019 General Session. Officials are also expected to discuss pending and upcoming issues.
The meetings will also have a presentation of the 2019 Business Matters Leaderships Awards. These awards recognize state legislators who “supported positive business initiatives” during the preceding general session.
All of the programs and lunch are free. However, a reservation is required. To RSVP, email ARStateChamber@arkansasstatechamber.comone week prior to the date of the event. Also indicate the location of the meeting you plan to attend in the email’s subject line.
The location of the meeting will be shared upon receiving a reservation.
Each meeting will begin with lunch at 11:30 a.m. and conclude at 1 p.m.
