Arkansas Capital Corporation has named Angela Frierson Shirey as its new vice president of community development.
Shirey will oversee Arkansas Capital Corporation’s outreach and engagement planning throughout the state and surrounding region and will be working to broaden those efforts.
“Angela is crucial to the success of community development at Arkansas Capital,” Arkansas Capital Corporation president and chief operating officer Sam Walls said in a statement. “Her experience will allow us to be even more impactful to the underserved in our market through this new role.”
She has held roles with the Arkansas Community Foundation, the Walton Family Foundation, the Delta Regional Authority, Teach for America, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Southern Bancorp, according to her LinkedIn profile.
