Jason Carter has been promoted to director of human resources administration at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield, the company announced.
Carter, who brings more than 20 years of experience to his new role, will lead the development, design and implementation of human resources operations, programs and policies in the realms of compliance, strategic planning and employee relations.
He joined Arkansas Blue Cross in 2016 as a member of the talent acquisition team and most recently served as manager of talent acquisition.
Carter has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas at Monticello, a master’s degree from Webster University, a Professional in Human Resources certification and a Professional Recruiter Certification. A former U.S. Air Force captain, Carter also serves on the University of Central Arkansas College of Business Advisory Board.
