There’s still time to apply for Pitch ‘N Pint. Entrepreneurs have until Friday, Nov. 22 to apply to pitch their ideas during the Venture Center’s annual competition.
During Pitch ‘N Pint, a range of entrepreneurs will take turns delivering 60-second elevator pitches to a panel of investor judges and the crowd. While the entrepreneurs are pitching, the crowd will be voting in real-time for their favorite via state-of-the-art, text-your-vote technology.
There’s real money on the line for the entrepreneurs, too. The top prize – the Judge’s Choice Winner – is $5,000 in seed capital. The next prizes go to the audience winners. The Audience First Place winner receives $1,000 in seed capital, the second place winner receives $500 in seed capital and the third place winner receives $250 in seed capital. There is also a prize for the best ugly sweater – that lucky entrepreneur will receive a $100 prize.
To pitch during Pitch ‘N Pint, entrepreneurs must be an Arkansas-based business with at least $25,000 in annual recurring revenue. The business must also have been in business five years or less.
Pitch ‘N Pint will be held Dec. 10, from 6-8 p.m., at South on Main in Little Rock. Tickets for Pitch ‘N Pint are $10. Each ticket includes two drinks and appetizers.
