Amazon is reportedly adding another distribution center in central Arkansas.
The e-retailer and technology company is placing a distribution center in Little Rock off of Interstate 30. This marks the second distribution center that Amazon has opened in central Arkansas. The first, opened in 2018 in North Little Rock, was designed as a “new concept” distribution center for last mile deliveries.
Catylist, a real estate research service, listed that Amazon has signed a 10-year lease for property at 2401 Interstate 30.
According to a CNBC report, Amazon has more than 100 active warehouses throughout the United States, with a majority of its open and planned facilities concentrated in the southern states.
