HIA Velo, LLC., the parent company of Allied Cycle Works, has laid off over a dozen workers recently.
Approximately 15 workers have been laid off this month, according to an article by Bicycle Retailer. While multiple departments were affected, the majority of employees were let go from production.
Allied Cycle Works builds and sells custom carbon-fiber bicycles. Its production facility is based in Little Rock, and the company has an office in Bentonville.
Before the layoffs, HIA had approximately 45 employees, according to Bicycle Retailer.
