Allegiant Air is launching a new non-stop flight from Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Austin, Texas.
The Las Vegas-based airline announced the new flight as part of a series of 34 new non-stop flights around the United States. In addition, the airline announced nine limited routes to Rapid City, South Dakota in preparation for the 2021 Sturgis Rally.
Allegiant is beginning the XNA to Austin flight on July 2, 2021. According to the company, one-way fares will begin at $49.
“As summer approaches, we expect a lot of pent-up demand for travel, especially for places where people can hike, fish, camp or visit the beach,” Allegiant senior vice president of revenue Drew Wells said in a statement. “With this expansion, we’ve added even more service to destinations known for their outdoor appeal. Now, with Allegiant’s low-cost, nonstop service, travelers will have easy, affordable access to the cities they want to visit.”
The new route is expected to run every Monday and Friday.
