Heather Albright has been named the president of Bank of America Arkansas.
The Arkansas native will be charged with connecting Bank of America’s banking and investment resources, offering through eight lines of business, to clients – companies, families and individuals – throughout Arkansas. Albright will also head up Bank of America’s efforts to tackle social issues, increase economic opportunity and to build strong communities in Arkansas.
Albright has 16 years of experience at Bank of America, serving as Global Commercial Banking senior vice president and as a senior relationship manager for middle market clients. She will continue to serve in these roles.
She succeeds Donnie Cook as Bank of America Arkansas’ president. Cook served as the company’s Arkansas market president for 16 years.
“During his 16-year tenure as market president and more than 49 distinguished years with our company, Donnie built and nurtured valuable relationships with influencers and clients that made a lasting imprint on our company and throughout the market,” Brian Moynihan, chief executive officer, Bank of America, said in a statement. “I thank him for his leadership and look forward to Heather continuing this important work.”
According to Albright’s LinkedIn profile, she has held roles at Bank of America since 2005 and previously was employed at Stephens Inc.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from Arkansas Tech University and an MBA from the University of Central Arkansas.
