The number of new COVID-19 cases in Arkansas continues to drop with only 320 cases reported on Monday, Feb. 15.
In its latest report, the Arkansas Department of Health announced that there were 271 confirmed new cases of COVID-19 and 49 new probable cases on Monday. These new cases brings the state’s total to 313,348 cases since the beginning of the pandemic.
Meanwhile, the active case count dropped significantly, falling by 1,192. The health department reported 693 confirmed fewer active cases with 499 fewer probable cases. In total, 954 individuals were confirmed as recovered with 548 listed as probable recoveries.
Currently, there are a total of 10,494 active cases in Arkansas.
Hospitalizations also dropped on Monday, falling by 27. This brings the hospitalization total to 642. However, ventilator usage rose by two, bringing the current ventilator usage to 111.
Deaths rose by 10 on Monday, and the state’s total death count is 5,275.
