The Arkansas Center for Health Improvement on Thursday advised Arkansas businesses to continue practicing proper hygiene, social distancing and transmission-reduction strategies as the world rides out the coronavirus pandemic.
The independent group’s Health Policy Board released the following statement
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.
- Use hand sanitizer with at least 60 percent alcohol if soap and water are not readily available.
- Stay at least six feet from other people when out in public.
- Wear a cloth facial covering in a public setting where social distancing is difficult to maintain, such as a grocery store or pharmacy.
